ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSS
Admission into Forth International School is open to both male and female students through a competitive entrance assessment, which includes a written examination and an oral interview conducted simultaneously.
Prospective students must have completed the appropriate level of education required for the class they are applying for. For higher-level classes such as Senior Secondary, applicants must demonstrate satisfactory academic performance in core subjects, especially English, Mathematics, and Science/Arts related subjects.
All applicants are required to submit relevant copies of their academic credentials and previous results prior to taking the entrance examination. Failure to provide these documents may lead to disqualification from the admission process.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Application Forms: Interested candidates are to obtain and complete the official Admission Application Form from the schoolrsquos designated admission channels.
Entrance Examination amp Interview: All applicants must take part in the written examination and oral interview, which are held simultaneously as part of a single-day assessment.
Screening of Documents: Submitted academic records and credentials are thoroughly reviewed as part of the admission screening process.
Admission Offer amp Acceptance: Successful candidates will receive an official Admission Offer Letter. To confirm their admission, candidates must complete and return the Admission Acceptance Form within the time frame specified. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the admission offer, and the slot may be allocated to a candidate on the waiting list.
Resumption Requirements: Upon resumption, admitted students are expected to:
Submit originals and photocopies of their academic credentials and birth certificate or declaration of age.
Present four recent passport-sized photographs.

Information About Our Programmes

School of Nursing Programme

The School of Nursing of University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) started nursing training in April, 1979. Students were admitted and jointly trained with the students admitted by the Cross River State Ministry of Health in school of Nursing, St. Margaret Hospital Calabar, located in the premise of the college of Health Technology along Mary Slessor Avenue. However, in November, 2009, School of Nursing of University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) was fully accredited.

The school has three well-equipped class rooms, tutorial room, well-equipped demonstration room, computer room, a science laboratory with reagents, an equipment store and a library. The school also has hostel accommodation with capacity to accommodate over 200 students. The hostel has a reading room, a kitchenette, a cafeteria, a common room, sick bay and laundry.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

1. To produce nurses that can harness their cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains to function
effectively within the nursing profession anywhere, any day.

2. To teach the student nurses professional skills based on the holistic view of man.

3. To produce nurses who are dynamic, sympathetic, empathetic and versatile enough to cope with the challenges in the profession.

4. To produce nurses who can apply knowledge of biological, physical and behavioural sciences in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care (concepts of nursing process).

5. To develop awareness for research in nursing among the student nurses and provide the foundation for the actualization of this concept, through supervised research projects.

6. To produce nurses who will display positive attitude in patients/clients/community care, amongst other health team members.

KG Pre-Nursery

Pre-Nursery Class Admission Information

Our Pre-Nursery Class is specially designed for children aged 2 years and above who are ready to begin their early learning journey in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.

At Forth International School, we introduce young learners to school life through fun-filled activities that promote language development, social skills, creativity, and physical coordination. Learning is play-based and tailored to each childrsquos developmental stage, ensuring a smooth and joyful transition into structured learning.

Admission into the Pre-Nursery Class requires that the child:

  • Is at least 2 years old

Due to the importance of this terminal class, admission into SS 3 is not automatically entertained. Applicants must demonstrate academic readiness and strong performance in SS 2, supported by valid transcripts or school records. Only candidates with consistent academic standing and discipline are considered.
